Stick a fork in it

It's done.

In a Dry and Weary Land weighs in at just under 102,000 words. Now I get to write a query letter and a synopsis and start trying to sell it all to literary agents.

I have a bad case of stage fright, but I'm determined to put myself under the lights anyway.

Wish me luck. Better yet, pray for me.

Oh, and let me know if you post your query in Query Hell. I don't always look there but I'm happy to help.

Thanks, Melanie. Yes, it's up there. The link is in my AW signature if you have trouble finding it.

Thanks, Kimmi and Spy. I'm really hoping I will experience the great feeling of someone saying they're interested in the book, too. :o)

It's times like these I wish I'd learned how to read...

Congratulations! :-)

I found you by your comment regarding "sci-fi with a Christian twist" on Pub Rants, which caught my interest. I'm a major Kathy Tyers fan. :-)

I'll be keeping an eye out for your work.

Sippi, you are sooooooooooo funny. I'd love to be able to write like you. But instead of doing a bad job of writing like you, I thought it better to do a good job of writing like me.

Carradee, technically, mine is fantasy, but I love science fiction too. I've only read excerpts of Kathy Tyers' stuff so far, but it looks pretty good. Thanks for stopping by and offering encouragement!
