ah! This like like that Improv Everywhere group (http://improveverywhere.com/). I have to say I love these kinda things. Never been lucky enough to see one in person but I love seeing videos of these kinda events. :D
I loved it! Thanks for putting this video up. It also made me think of Improv Everywhere, and in particular, the following video called "Food Court Musical" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkYZ6rbPU2M
Those wacky Belgians! :D
Flash mob! I'm always up for silly. I enjoyed it much more when I saw that kids were involved. Adults and kids need to play together more often.
I think we all need to experience more things like this, especially now.
I guess I'm the only one then or maybe it was the mood I was in yesterday. I found this strangely moving. I mean, my eyes even prickled. Something about the delight on the faces of the people as they caught on to what was happening just got me.
I'm with you guys; I like those Improv Everywhere videos too. But this one was special for the sheer good-spiritedness (is that a word?) of it.
I wonder how these things get organized?
Alexander, that Food Court Musical is a great one, all right. Everybody who hasn't seen it should check it out.
Maybe it's just me, but if I had been there I think I would start surveying the perimeter, wondering what was behind such an elaborate effort to distract everyone...
LOL, Ed, you are such a cynic.
So very cool!
I just saw this someplace else - Oh how I wish I could be a part of something like this!
The only thing I don't like is that if I was there I'd want to dance too...and I don't know the choreography!
Maybe we need a flash mob dance at BEA this year!
Janet, did you see the people dancing along the sidelines? It would have been so much fun. I'll have to check the Improveverywhere website to see if there's any way of getting involved.
Maybe I'll see you dancing in Grand Central someday. But of course, I wouldn't recognize you. I don't really think you look like a shark. LOL
I definitely cried!
But now I have to go to bed!

Ha! I am not the only one.
I am sometimes astonished at the things that bring tears to my eyes.
